Coast Inn at Lake Hood, is a short walk away to watch float planes take on and off from one of the busiest seaplane bases in the world. The room size was very large and very comfortable. The bed was really comfortable. Watching the planes land and take off was fun.

I can find all that I need in this kitchen. * We had various options for breakfast, tea, and coffee. * The comfy bed and pillows. * The host sent details direction to go to the place and the door passcode a few days before. * The host is also very responsive in answering questions and requests. I enjoyed my stay.

I liked how close it was to the airport and how centrally located to everything in town. I had great days exploring the area with the Lakefront being my home base. The planes landing out back are pretty amazing too!

Very clean and well appointed hotel and close to a very nice bar/restaurant on the waterfront

I always enjoy coming to the Puffin Inn. Everyone is always so friendly even when things get overwhelming or hectic. I loved that when my plane came in earlier than expected, the front desk associate didn't keep me waiting and placed me in an available room. The room was super big for just me BUT I remained thankful and just stayed in the space and kept it neat. First time I was on the 3rd floor and was excited to have access to an elevator.

Located 10 minutes from historic downtown Anchorage, Alaska, this hotel offers 24-hour shuttle service to Anchorage International Airport. The room was incredible, much much better than I expected. The staff was helpful, no problems at all.
