We had free transfer to and from the villa so our rental car was comfortably delivered the next day to our residence. The house is spacious, well equipped and perfectly clean. However what really sets this villa apart from the others is the caretaker couple Corn and Ohm. We’ve rented villas on the island many times but thanks to them this one is special. Not only a great, lovingly prepared breakfast every day but also highly motivated help and attention with all our other needs during our stay. Corn and Ohm were definitely the highlight of our stay.

Samui Pier Beach Front & Resort is just 2 minutes’ walk from Bangrak Beach. It features an outdoor pool and rooms with sea views. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. staff were amazing place was so clean and Wi-Fi and rooms were perfect.
The beach is amazing - sand is like talc powder - the seas are mainly calm and extremely clear - the restaurants out on Moo 2 (the main shopping - restaurant strip) are many and varied and some of them are extremely reasonably priced - alcohol drinks can normally be bought at many establishments between certain hours at 2 for 1 price and are normally about $4.50 Australian - cocktails - varied and amazing.
Great chilled beach, lovely for swimming. Need to make sure you get in at the right spot as can be quite rocky in places. Gorgeous warm water and nice sand. Enough people to give it a good atmosphere without it being overcrowded
There isnt much to do in Bophut. We stayed for 4 days and we felt it was too long. The beach is ok albeit small and the only clean areas are those around the hotels and resorts. Once you walk outside your hotel the streets are dirty and smelly and overall lack good infrastructure. there are almost no trees on the streets. Bolt And Grab dont work in the Bophut area and people have to rely on the very expensive taxi mafia. Tourist prices everywhere which are similar to European prices. The Fishermans Village was great with a lot of food options and souvenirs, A must see but open only on Monday and Friday evenings, Other than that, there is nothing else to do in Bophut.
The best thing that comes in mind is that the location is close, by car, to some important sightseeing, such as Golden Buddha, the Grandmother and Grandfather Beach, the Fisherman Village (2 km, the latter), the Waterfall 2 park, as well as to some of the greatest restaurants on the island: Coco Tam (best beach setting and great food), Jungle Club (the best setting, and amazing view with high quality in food), Suppatra Dining (probably the best dining on the island) and Dr. Frogs (great view, but the food did not met our expectations). The Central Festival Shopping Mall is also close, as well as the airport of Samui, that looks like a cartoon (my favorite airport in the world now). You can drive easily by luxurious van limo at very decent prices. We had the services of Mr. Tee recommended by the staff of our hotel, the Scent Hotel. He was decent, professional and very polite and he uses WhatsApp. There are beaches that appeared to us very intimate, like the one from Scent Hotel, or simply gorgeous beaches like the ones between Lamai and Chaweng.
Beautiful beach which is quieter and more relaxing than the main Chaweng beach. For relaxation and enjoying a leisurely dip in the sea and a snorkel, Chaweng Noi hits the spot, with crystal clear water and spotting an array of tropical marine fish and crabs. There is not much in terms of choices of restaurants or bars therefore it is better to go into Chaweng or Lamai for more choice for food and drink - this is easily done by using NaviGo or hailing a taxi/hop on hop off red truck from the main road. There is a nice bistro bar which does good happy hour drinks but the mains were pretty mediocre, though the prices were pretty good - the chicken satay there is delicious!
We stayed in one of the three beachfront rooms which was excellent, its a quiet resort with not a lot of atmosphere and the breakfast was OK but pretty basic, they had those automatic coffee machines that dont really make very nice coffee, they do have a proper machine but you had to pay for a coffee from that machine. Beach in front of hotel was incredible, white sand really warm water, the hotels to the left had rocks at low tide but ours was great. Zero stree appeal and a pretty basic reception but all functioned fine, heard another person complain they wanted to charge her for a glass of ice? Staff we OK, lady around pool very friendly the rest not unfriendly just kept to themselves. They was a lot of reno work going on but it didnt bother us, they started late finished early and all the workers seem friendly enough.
