The city is beautiful, clean and tidy, not over run by tourists. There are many beautiful official buildings and places of interest. Strolling through The Old Town is a nice experience. Samilha Beach is also quite lovely, a nice place to visit in the evening. People are polite and friendly.
Songkhla is a massive city with a beautiful lake which is very busy it also has a great beach with several sea food restaurants where you can enjoy some of the best seafood in the world while enjoying the breeze coming off the gulf of Thailand
Old town is amazing, green and art creative, with plenty of nice spots for photographs, really nice. The beach view is beautiful althought the beach is dirty, unclean, and the sea is rough and moody. But so far is great to see the sea, walk in the sea shore and exercise. It was really nice
Songkhla has lots to offer, we especially enjoyed the old town, great food, beach and zoo. We also enjoyed looking for street art, interesting architecture and watching all of the different boats and fishing boats.
Great place to stay. We stayed on the island Ko Yoh, and it was perfect - really quiet and pretty. Lots of nice restaurants. There is a lot to see and do. We used it as a bit of a time to see things and relax in our accomodation.
