The evening buffet was well prepared, having a good selection and was much needed on a cold winter night. The room was modern and comfortable.

I was very lucky with my room: I looked straight at the harbour and church from my bed. Free hot water and tea bags whenever needed. Otherwise everything was fine and kind of as expected for a big modern hotel - good wifi, friendly staff etc. The breakfast was nice. Location is brilliant, and I really liked Hammerfest, as it is not too small to be bored yet not as touristy/big as other towns in the North of Norway. I washed two items of clothing with the soap in the bathroom and they still smell nice even 4 days afterwards :)

On a beautiful location offering views of both the harbour and the Sørøysund strait, is Scandic Hammerfest. Breakfast was divine with fresh products and we really enjoyed the view to the fjord from the window of the breakfast room. The rooms were really comfortable and clean with a lovely view to the port, the beds were extra comfy. All in all, it was avery enjoyable stay.
