The lady and gentleman at reception and in the restaurant were very open, sociable, willing to talk and actively provided information. Traveling as a tourist, we received such good tips.

I was very lucky with my room: I looked straight at the harbour and church from my bed. Free hot water and tea bags whenever needed. Otherwise everything was fine and kind of as expected for a big modern hotel - good wifi, friendly staff etc. The breakfast was nice. Location is brilliant, and I really liked Hammerfest, as it is not too small to be bored yet not as touristy/big as other towns in the North of Norway. I washed two items of clothing with the soap in the bathroom and they still smell nice even 4 days afterwards :)
