The property is perfect: clean, close to the airport. The owners are so kind, we arrived pretty late and they were waiting for us to welcome us. They gave advice on how to reach their property and how to leave it. The breakfast was really good. I can only recommend this place :)

Jayantha and his wife made sure that they made our stay memorable inspite of checking in at 1130 pm. The following morning they made sure we had our teas and coffes and was also kind enough to drive us to the airport. Another great example of ari lankan hospitality. We only stayed here about 12 hours but my parents totally loved it and loved the hospitality. The building is exceptionally well maintained for being over 100 years old with all the bathrooms upgraded with a modern contemporary minimalist feel with open spaces and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Less than a 3 min drive to the airport, please stay here on your way into and out of colombo especially if a long journey awaits you. Highly recommended. 5/5!!

Cosy charming place close to the airport, perfect to settle down after arrival or before departure. Hosts are lovely people who take care of everything and cook nice dinners. The pool is set in a lovely green garden, next to the river. It's quiet and comfy! You can easily visit Colombo from here. We would stay here again anytime!
It was not nice that we had to take a cab even for this price. Sorry. We had an agreement before. It can happen that you like fall asleep and don’t hear your phone.thats fine. But you should have maybe get a discount or the beer for free. And for sure did our room not look like on this pictures here online!
They have two different type of accommodation, one for the locals and for foreigners, what saw in the pictures, not there when I reach the property. and when I enter the room was very dirty and unpleasant smell of smoke, then I immediately complaint about it, but no action took. The booking.com offered me this accommodation for 1850.00 per night but according to the care taker said, usually they charge 5000.00 per night and he charged me 2000.00 instead of 1850.00, The care taker Gamini was very humble and arranged me transportation to the airport too, but he is too old to take care the property, as I did not see any other helper to assit him.
The owner is helpful. But, he couldn't accept my visa payment card. It is too much difficult to pay the hotel room service. We can not pay by any electronic money like visa, master, american express etc. Only cash is payable.
The accomodation doesn’t look like the photos on booking.com which is showing actual buildings, it is more like transportables (see my photo), with a arch shaped roof however they are air conditioned with private bathrooms and perfectly good for a short transit stay, and suit the pleasant weather in Sri Lanka. The staff are also very helpful land went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. The free airport transfer avoided hassles and was well coordinated. The food was to a good standard and well priced and we received a welcome drink.
A place for relaxing. Taking it easy. Very far away from the city. If you book here, it should be after you are done with the city and are ready to chill and take your flight. Going back to City again is tedious due to distance. A family space. Activities for the family. Kids can have fun too. The restaurant is quite good and service quite quick. Very helpful and friendly staff. More like a sleepy resort than a hotel in the city.
