I booked the stay for my family and all of us enjoyed it very much

Agasthi Airport Close in Katunayaka provides accommodations with an open-air bath, a garden, and a terrace. There's a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. Host was super! I just needed to sleep before returning to the airport to meet my cycling tour group so this room was very well located. Never having been to Sri Lanka before, I wasn't sure how to manage. I booked a taxi through Booking.com and paid in advance--it was ~$11. Uber upon arrival may work too. The host was ready for my arrival and kindly offered to help me order food for dinner. I got a ride back to the airport from the Aghasti Close folks for a very reasonable price--so not free as noted online, but not expensive and much appreciated. All in all, I was super happy with my decision to go with Aghasti Close, as anything more in the heart of Colombo would have been a waste of time and money for me.
