Super clean, tastefully decorated, well equipped and secure property with lovely hosts. Ideal if you have a late or early flight out of Pisa, as this hotel is literally across the street from the airport. Arrived after midnight on a delayed flight and the host welcomed us with a big smile and took his time to ensure that we were comfortable and settled even though it was very late! Thank you! :)

Jane's Apartment Rental is located in Pisa, just 3.2 miles from Pisa Cathedral and 3.4 miles from Leaning Tower of Pisa. Guests can benefit from a balcony and a terrace. We chose this apartment due to location and excellent reviews. It is a short 5 min walk across the parking lot at Pisa Airport. If you are arriving at Pisa Airport, just walk straight out. If you are, as we were, coming from Florence, take the train to Pisa Centrale and switch over to the shuttle...and walk straight across. The apartment is quite large - a 2 bedroom with a separate living room, dining room, kitchen and balcony. We only used the 2 bedrooms and bathroom for our overnight stay. But if you want to use the apartment as a base and travel from there, you have a complete modern kitchen, newly renovated bathroom, good beds and linens, and TV. We had a quick dinner downstairs at Luigi's Burger; there is also Luigi's Ramen. Overall, a great experience!

Everything was super clean, and although the host wasn't there when I checked in, the details sent through WhatsApp / chat were very thorough. 5-10min walk to the Pisa Airport. Room was very spacious and bed was extremely comfortable. Good value for money.

The Pisa Piazza where the Bastile and the leaning tower are located is charming. Does get busy during the summer months. Recommend that you use the QR code on the signs around the Square to book a time for the entrance to the tower with the entrance to the Cathedral, or do this online prior to arrival in central Pisa. Suggest you walk the wall around the Piazza, great views…
Valentina was a great host. She welcomed us and showed everything we know. She offered pushbikes for us to use which was a nice surprise. At our check out, she gave us lift to bus stop which was so helpful cz its about 15mins walk and our bags was heavy and was too hot to walk. She may needed to go in town anyway but she waited for us which was kind. Definitely recommend this place to stay if you want to be a little out of town.
We had 2 nights in Pisa and it would have been easy to do another night. All the blogs we read said once you’ve done the square of miracles there’s nothing else to do ! This wasn’t the case for us at all and I personally think Pisa is very underrated. We found the best coffee shop that served perfect cappuccinos called Filter coffee Lab, wonderful restaurants ,nice parks to walk through ,and enjoyed strolling on corso Italia Visiting the square of miracles at night when the crowds had disappeared was truly wonderful ,as was walking along the river with its grand buildings lining either side. All in all a great place to visit for a couple of days.
Great base to explore Tuscany. Visited Florence and Lucca by train whilst staying in Pisa. Food in Pisa was great and very reasonably priced...even by the Tower! Lots to see and easy to navigate on foot. Train station very easy to use and travel was good value for money... lots of trains...all running on time!
I loved the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The complex it sits in has a ticket office, museums, and plenty of walking spaces. You can do a 3km rampart walk. The food in Pisa is divine with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Local food delicacy includes boar and rabbit cooked to ancient Tuscany recipes. Pisa is compact . It has 2 railway stations. The main railway stations offer connections to Rome, Milan but also shorter trips to Siena, Lucca , and the coastal seaside of Livorna. The airport is only 7km from the centre of Pisa and a train link is available. Pisa has good bespoke shops and leather bags, shoes and other leather accessories are worth buying. WARNING: Do not take up the offer of Booking . com car transfer from Pisa airport . We were charged £54.00 by booking a car transfer via booking .com. We were surprised to find out the centre of Pisa is 7km from the centre of Pisa . Our taxi back to the airport by a local firm which was efficient was £13.00. Do check distances and availability from airports. 2 days in Pisa if you wish to see and do it all is sufficient.
Pisa was overrun by tourists in the day but seemed the majority were only there for the day and the evenings were quiet with only a small amount of tourists staying for the evenings, which made choosing a bar or restaurant in the evening a pleasure. I would use Pisa as a base with other locations, and good connections by rail and bus. the train to Cinque Terra is rammed in the morning, leaving a few hours later and returning to Pisa in the evening is a better choice.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, top notch breakfast buffet. Older hotel but clean and comfortable. Located steps from train station and airport tram - convenient for morning flights out of PSA.
