The unit is an updated designer decorated apartment above the hosts Tuscan old house.
It has a separate stair entrance.
The setting and the garden, the glass house in it are beautiful, impecable and with good taste.
Giulio and Massimo were very accommodating and helpful.
We asked if they could help us find a truffle hunting and they were able to arrange one that was fantastic. We left with lots of large black truffles and a few small whites. Giulio drove all the way to another city to the meeting place to make sure we found our guide, and Bella the dog.
Gave us lots of local suggestions.
We had everything we needed in the apartment, lots of Nespresso pods, teas, there was even some pasta but we did not cook.
The heat was great as well.
I left some medicines and Giulio offered to mail them when he found them but I did not need them.
We hope to return, even fantasizing with spending a month there and becoming more “Tuscan”.

We stay there because of the electric car charger, which worked fine. The pool was definitely the nicest. Triple Room was very large and comfortable.

There isn't a huge amount going on in the town itself but it is very well placed for Pisa and Lucca - both by road and rail. Very peaceful and great rural atmosphere.
It is very attractive at the foot of the mountains. Not much in the way of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the station.

Great hotel in a beautiful location. Very friendly and helpful staff on reception and in the restaurant. A special thank you to Sylvia in the restaurant who went out of her way to make sure we understood the menu and recommend dishes that we would like. Dinner and breakfast were both very good. Just a note for anyone with walking difficulties - there are a lot of steps down to the rooms, restaurant, reception and pool. A great stay - thank you.
Very pleasant stay, hosts were so kind. Neighborhood and whole area of San Giuliano Terme is safe and tranquil so we slept with open door of apartment, only net for mosquitoes was closed. Place is near to Pisa, only 10min with our car.
The host was friendly, it felt like visiting a grandma. If you like cats, you will love the place. Also, the house was like 5 minutes away frin the tower of Pisa by car. Easy parking right outside.
Amazing building, very well kept villa, nice grounds/gardens and footpaths. Very friendly staff. Restaurant next to the hotel is marvellous, perfect stopover when passing through.
The perfect place if you want to stay near Pisa, Riccardo and his family are one of the best host we every had. We really felt like home, our dog loved it too :)
