**Florence in 3 Days – A Memorable Experience** Florence is an absolute gem! I spent three incredible days exploring its rich history, art, and architecture. Visiting the Galleria dell'Accademia to see Michelangelo's *David* was undoubtedly the highlight—truly awe-inspiring in its detail and grandeur. The city's charm extends beyond its museums. Wandering through the narrow streets, admiring the Duomo, and crossing the Ponte Vecchio felt like stepping back in time. The food was another delight—delicious pasta, gelato, and espresso at every corner. Three days felt short, but Florence left a lasting impression. Highly recommend it for art lovers, history enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates beauty!
Sesto is in a strategic location, whether you want to visit Florence (reachable by bus or short driving distance) or drive to other landmark cities (Rome, Venice, Milan) getting on the nearest highway entrance, just a few hundred meters away. Sesto itself offers lots of restaurants and supermarkets for every daily need.
Lots to see in Florence. So much history. Beautiful city. Very walkable and safe. But even in October, it was very crowded. Book everything ahead of time to avoid disappointment. Pace yourself. Take time to enjoy the delicious cuisine and wonderful wines! Highlights for us.... the Duomo (do climb it!), Uffizi Gallery,Ponte Vecchio and strolling the charming streets. Allow 3 to 4 days to see the highlights. More time if you just want to relax, eat, drink, shop.
We enjoyed our visit to Florence. It was wonderful to see the ancient sites and tour the country side. Our host at our hotel, Alessandro, was very attentive and helpful. Loved the fact that the hotel was situated in the heart of the city and we can walk to all of the historic sites.
there is so much I could say, the art, the culture, the food. at nearly every turn you walk into a sculptor by one of the greats, so many in expensive museums and the food, so clean so healthy so Good. I loved everything about Florence.
Wonderful. Book your entry tickets to everything in advance if you can. Florence is very full even at Christmas ( on the day) The uffiizi is vey ,very busy. Allow at least half a day for the Pitti Palace where the queues are not so bad at Christmas time. The Duomo is glorious on the outside a bit disappointing inside. Don't miss the Baptistry doors ( even though they are copies they are still exceptional in every way. Do visit the Michelangelo Panorama above and near The Pitti Palace,
