The Poacher Inn, a property with a bar, is situated in Hook, 13 km from Jane Austen's House Museum, 20 km from Frensham Great Pond and Common, as well as 34 km from Highclere Castle. I like everything about The Poacher, but especially the people who worked there, and particularly the managers: Jayne and Jon. Terrific people who went out of their way to make my stay an enjoyable one. I stayed in four other inns during this trip, and my stay at The Poacher was, by far, the nicest.

The convienice to everything this small village has to offer. It was well appointed, very comfortable firm mattress, and quiet. I will book again on my next trip. The stairs to the attic bedroom are unique and require an open mind and able body.

Annex at Southfields in idyllic Hampshire village, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Greywell, 24 km from Frensham Great Pond and Common, 31 km from LaplandUK, as well as 32 km from... brilliant location in the pretty peaceful village, with a close walk to the local pub which serves great food and has nice large garden with playground for kids. The annex had all we needed and the hosts were lovely when we met them, and very helpful with all we needed. we'd definitely stay here again.
