Comfy Cosy Caravan_Romney Sands, a property with a terrace and a bar, is set in Littlestone-on-Sea, 27 km from Eurotunnel UK, 28 km from Folkestone Harbour, as well as 32 km from Folkestone Central... We booked this location and property due it's locality to our parents, who we visited over Christmas. It was our first experience of staying in a static caravan, and the whole experience was exceptional. Communication with the owners leading upto, during, and after our stay was excellent. The property was immaculate, and had everything you could want for a couple of nights stay. It was very warm, and and the techy stuff worked perfectly. We cannot fault this property in any way at all, and would recommend it 100% ++.
Greatstone (1 miles from Lydd Airport)
Located in Greatstone on Sea, near to New Romney in Kent. The holiday home features garden views and is 31 km from Dover. The bungalow was amazing inside and out, very cosy inside and a large garden outside (front and back). It seems like a lot of thought went into decorating it. We thought the photos don't do it justice. It was very comfortable and clean and had everything you needed. There was also quite a bit of information about the area which was very helpful. It was only a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach. Sue was very friendly and helpful. We can recommend Sea Shells and would love to come again!

Dungeness is a unique place on the Kent coast. A vast shingle beach, and ramshackle old cottages mix with architectural wonders. Decaying fishing boats litter the shore and a nuclear power station adds to the complex landscape. A 15 inch gauge railway runs through the landscape, transporting visitors back and from Hythe to Dungeness and two lighthouses look over the land and see. A haven for the weird and a magnet for artists. There's nowhere quite like it.
Littlestone-on-Sea makes for a good base to visit the beautiful surrounding area including Dungeness, the railway and the beautiful town of Rye and also a place to see beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The sea views are pretty amazing too and time spent walking along the beach is time well spent.
An idyllic stay with five adults aged 64 to 90 and two dogs. Walking to the “Sound Mirrors” was well worth it. The view across Romney and close proximity to walk just moments from the house, simply perfect.
To our surprise our hotel was opposite the RH& DR quaint railway station. We had to have a ride on it! The tour around Dungeness Power station was very enlightening about nuclear energy ,well worth the effort of booking well in advance. We had a nice meal at the Pilot Inn ,Dungeness but it is very busy.
Great place to chill and eat. .. make sure you do the mini train ride and go on the classics buses. Global inn is a great Resturant .. but book early if you want to sit inside. The also have a food festival , which I went to last year. You have to check the dates for that, but it’s worth it.
We stayed August 2021 for 5 days, we did clamping with the kiddies. The the pod, small but nice and clean. it situated on field, where kiddies can round around, play games and you can have a BBQ. Showers and toilets are 2 mins away but were clean, and if therefore were any issue, staff were available to help. There is a little tap located outside the showers, which was very useful. there is lots to do with kiddies, bingo, kiddies entertainer, swimming, arcade, Rommey beach is a must. there is a Sainsbury 5 mins drive. there is a bar, where the breakfast and dinner is located. the food was lovely. The only issue was that on our first day, the staff was clearly overwhelmed in the restaurant and we waited over 31/2 hours for our food, which was not great for the kiddies, so we didnt get out food until 10.35pm or later. but there sorted the issues of the food an there rest of the week, great service and great food. there are a view people i want to mentioned due to great customer service and friendly. Jackie restaurant manager, Hannah waiter, Adam bar and waiter, Keeley (outstanding), Joslin manager, gets a special mentioned, she acknowledge the food issue, apologied and did what she could and spoke to me directly for the rest of my stay. Honestly the biggest issue was the cost of the food and drink, two hot chocolate came to £7.50, we had half board and save us a fortune. BRING A BBQ,KETTLE and TOASTER if your clamping.. Keeley's mother (house keeping) well done for the excellent quality of the pods. Any issues, were addressed and great customer service. Apologies, if got any names wrong
