It was our first time in a caravan and we were amazed to find out that the standards were the ones of great hotels' accommodation. We were particularly impressed by the high level of cleanliness. Additionally, the accommodation was equipped with every possible thing you need during your stay. It felt like home, it was welcoming, warm, it smelt amazing and it was soberly furnished. Michelle was a fantastic host, replied timely to all our messages and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Definitely a place we will go back to, for a nice break from the city. Thank you so much Michelle!

Beautiful beach, town is small but there is enough there to cover your needs. Great as a base too to go to other places along the coast such as Rye and Deal. Top tip if there during the week most places stop serving food at 8pm so eat early. We unfortunately didn’t know this and ended up in the kebab shop (which was very good) but was planning on something a bit more special

Dymchurch is a very small seaside town.
Dymchurch is a very small seaside town. The attraction of the area is in exploring the whole coastline from Hythe in the East to Rye and Rye Harbour in the West. The local St. Mary's Bay has a wonderful stretch of open wet sand and shingle beach and the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway with a mixture of locomotives is another local delight. Port Lympne Safari Park is a short drive away and the beautiful sand dunes of Camber Sands about 25 minutes by car. Lots to explore but must expect to drive and discover. A selection of Country Parks are on offer in the local area and decent grocery shopping facilities are in Hythe and New Romney. Dogs allowed on the beaches between 1st October to 30th April. River boat hire is available at Hythe town. Over-commercialism is not what to seek here!

Dymchurch is a small town with an amazing sandy beach.
Dymchurch is a small town with an amazing sandy beach. It has nice pubs, restaurants, take aways, coffee shops, and even a children's fairground and not forgetting an amusement arcade. It has some lovely towns to visit not far away. Hythe, Folkestone, Romney, Deal, Sandwich, Rye and Dungeness, to name but a few.
The small steam train runs from Hythe to Dungeness, a great little trip, unfortunately it wasn't running on the day we went, but have used it several times before, it's great and children love it too.
