Located 2-minutes walk away from Edinburgh Airport, Hampton By Hilton Edinburgh Airport offers free WiFi. Among the various facilities of this property are a fitness centre and a bar. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's excellent location after reading some comments. It's extremely close to the airport, just a five-minute walk away. I recommend using the Twilight service to drop off your bags at night for added convenience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient during check-in, and the breakfast buffet was delightful with a wide variety of sweet and savoury options. Overall, it was a clean and enjoyable experience. Also, if you check in like 3 PM there is a plenty of time. You can take the direct bus from the airport to the citizen center and come back.

This 4-star Novotel is 200 metres from Edinburgh Park Rail Station and a 12-minute train ride from the city centre. It has modern rooms and a heated indoor swimming pool. Spaceous room and bathroom. Got upgraded to Executive room though.
We arrived about 12.15pm I liked it from the minute I stepped into the building, it was beautiful. All of the staff we met in check in were so helpful. They gave us our room Key, that was the biggest surprise knowing check in was at 3pm. The Continental breakfast the next morning was so special. Thank you so much We will be back
Driving in late at night in the dark, I did not appreciate the beauty of my surroundings until next morning when I saw the canal, the town buildings and the towpath walks. Swans on the canal added to the overall charm.
Great place to base yourself for trips to Edinburgh or Livingston. Our son loved watching the trains cross the forth rail bridge, the aquarium and the ice cream at the little parlour. Breakfast at down the hatch was also delicious.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel was very modern and had a good vibe. The bar wasn’t stocked very well and service was a bit slow but this may have been due to it being really busy due to an event near by.
Not much in Ratho, the canal is a particular favourite as lots of activity and it’s quite picturesque. Easy access to Edinburgh scenery is fabulous and if it’s a quiet time you want then this is the place to go.
Queensferry is a lovely place to walk around. There are lots of excellent restaurants and coffee shops. I had lunch at the Railbridge Bistro and a lovely dinner at the Thirty Knots restaurant. There are nice little shops to browse in. Queensferry is very near Edinburgh and there is an excellent train service into the city from Dalmeny Station.
