Room in family home enjoys a location in Teversham, 3.4 miles from University of Cambridge and 17 miles from Audley End House. Always happy when I come to visit regularly. I work at the University of Cambridge and need to work in the office a couple of days a week so I stay at this home. The room is a small box room but is somewhere to sleep with a TV. Always comfortable, well-presented, clean and a friendly family.

I also liked that I could park my car close to the entrance, so I did not have to struggle with distance for bags and suitcases.

At the entering to city there was grocery shop, ATM, was little bistro with fish and chicken fries for trip dinner, city very comfortable to walking! And the very close to Cambridge Retail park(Tkmax shop, Lidl, Asda, Sport direct and other shops. The family room is just the entering to city Teversham.
We enjoyed our stay a lot. House is in Cambridge not Milton. Perfect for those who are looking for a nice, clean place to stay. Free parking helped us explore the city without worrying about the cars and where to park them. Beds were comfortable.
The city’s mix of youthful energy and rich history is quite captivating. The colleges that ring the city have their own story to tell. Stroll through town and feel the vibe but beware of bicycles! The farmers market in the city center has an amazing array of ethnic food vendors. Such aromas! make it difficult to choose what to eat. Not to miss, the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Such a fabulous collection that would rival any big city museum. The gift shop has the best prices in town for souvenirs. Don't drive in town if you can help it. It's congested and there is plenty of good public transportation.
The property was just ok. It’s been renovated to a poor standard. The shower didn’t drain well, the bathroom handle came off and there are nails sticking out from where the skirting board had been removed and not replaced. Generally appears to be a rush job. Cheap fittings. The plus side - heating is good and hot water. Bed a bit creaky and soft. Location good for centre and river. local pub has live music and South Indian restaurant just down the road. . Quiet.
Great location in a beautiful village with a few pubs and restaurants - the venue is also beautiful with a great pub and menu. Room was basic and dated, lacking some modern amenities, but was clean and functional nonetheless. I’d recommend for a short stay!
It was a small villge with a pub and a shop. it was very pretty and as were on a cyclng holiday so great for cycling round the little villages nearby. It is also a quiet haven even though it is only a shsort drive or cycle to the bustling city.
