A beautiful and calm countryside retreat in France, and it exceeded my expectations. An old, historic property with lots of charm and character, clean, comfortable, managed by a great, very friendly host. Slept well, ate well, had a wonderful time, and would love to return.

After booking our 3 night stay, we had some doubts about this venue and especially the available services. However, Benedicte and her husband Paul, together with their supporting team, do a great job! They welcome guests in a spontanious, very friendly manner and make you feel at home instantly. Paul's evening dinners are simple, made from local produce and very tasty. We found the interaction between guests/hosts quite pleasant and enjoyable. We had a great time at Chateau Vary, and the people running it are real gems!

The property is very private and comfortable.
