A beautiful and calm countryside retreat in France, and it exceeded my expectations. An old, historic property with lots of charm and character, clean, comfortable, managed by a great, very friendly host. Slept well, ate well, had a wonderful time, and would love to return.

With the shared dinner table, by third nught, we felt like at a family reunion.

Our children had all the space to play around. This is a place where you can really relax. The location is excellent with lots of options for sightseeing, eating out, etc. The cottages are very suitable for families. Highly recommended!

Housed in a 17th-century château, Château de Briançon is 3 km from the centre of Bauné and 19 km from Angers. This B&B offers a garden, a terrace and free WiFi access. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely spacious bedroom and bathroom. Very good breakfast. The chateau has a lift which is very handy when on the second floor. The option to have food and drink in the evening was appreciated. When booking I was unaware that a portion of our accommodation cost would be used to fund suitable holiday stays for young people and adults with mental or physical handicap and also help fund training for those caring for them. I congratulate all concerned and praise your compassion.

The kitchen is fabulous and fitted with modern equipment and utensils ideal for a family or large group. Bonus of the outside swimming pool which was a welcome area for relaxing after a long journey. The property is very private and comfortable.
