Room was made soundproof, i think. Was quiet to sleep.

My dinner experience was extremely over priced and not good. Breakfast was slightly better. I had no complaints about the room or the service. Generally this was a good place to stay when traveling. The signage to the hotel was very confusing.
Great location near the airport for an overnight stay. Nothing fancy but reasonable. Price was fair. Dinner in the Bistro was OK, steak was good but expensive, as expected in a hotel. I found it concerning that glass, glasses were in the bathroom with a tile floor and marble countertops. One slip and it could be a dangerous mess. They were just sitting on the counter, clean but not wrapped in any sustainable, sanitary packaging. Reusable - Yes but Best Choice - not sure. Don't miss breakfast. Huge selection of great foods. One of my best meals in Finland.
Make SURE you complete ALL of the pre-arrival details after booking. You need to register a copy of your passport and a facial photo in order to get the code for entry. There is VERY little in the area around the facility. It's on a major road in an industrial area -- all supporting airport operations. However, there IS a golden nugget. A 5-minute walk will find you at a cafe run by a nice guy from Iraq. They have a buffet but you can also get food to go. It's very nice and very fairly priced. Look up "The First Ravintola"
Liked most - very modern and comfortable airport services of arrival and departure. Didn't like - area of gates 16-1 is very poor in means of cafeterias and shops, additionally there is no air conditioning...
No tea or coffee facilities in room.Room ok shower ok beds too small. All in all, adequate for a hostel but as hotels go this was overpriced and inadequate. Hygiene at breakfast questionable. As it was a quick overnight stay we coped could not have stayed longer. Simple light switches may also be an improvement, why do they have to be so tricky?
In general, Finland is a country to admire and enjoy, wherever you go you will find something that calls your attention to admire. They are always in constant evolution, for example The airport is very nice and I have no doubt that it is the best in Europe.
