Für mich war Vantaa nur eine Zwischenstation, da ich nach Jyväskylä mit dem Zug weiterreiste. Vantaa habe ich nicht kennen gelernt.
In Vantaa gibt es das Flugmuseum mit Maschinen aus dem 2. Weltkrieg zu besichtigen (12 Euro Eintritt).
Als Flughafen für Finland - Eigene Rundreisen, mit Mietautos oder Zug alles in der nähe. Distanz nach Helsinki, zum Markt
Vantaa ist kein Urlaubsort, ich war aber auch nicht zum Erholen dort, es war eine Dienstreise. Vantaa hat ein preisgekröntes Lunch-Restaurant mit dem besten Buffet Finnlands (für sagenhafte 16,00!!!) Man ist schnell in Helsinki.
Ich habe schon mehrere Male in Vantaa übernachtet. Es ist immer alles sauber und vorhanden. Morgenbuffet ausreichend und sehr gut. Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Bushaltestelle direkt am Haus. HSL-Tickt für Zone A und B reicht gerade noch aus. Sehr freundliches und immer ansprechbares Personal. Gerne wieder beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Helsinki.
