Staff was amazing, both friendly, flexible and accommodating. I checked in close to midnight and had to leave before the kitchen would open. The organized a food box for me so I could still have breakfast - it was waiting for me when I got downstairs a few minutes earlier than planned.

Blumwohnen in zentraler Lage is situated in Filderstadt, 16 km from Stockexchange Stuttgart, 16 km from State Theater, and 17 km from Central Station Stuttgart. The apartment was a great stay on my last night in Germany. It was clean, comfy, quiet, and quite new. The host Ulrike is responsive and kind and easy to communicate with. The location is great too. There is a bus line about a three minute walk away to get to and from the airport. There is a train station too, maybe a 10 minute walk.

I stayed in Echterdingen because I needed an overnight room close to the airport. I was pleasantly surprised to find how attractive the town was, given that it's right under the airport flightpath (and you aren't aware of it) and virtually a suburb of Stuttgart. It retains its small-town feel with some attractive streets, lots of cobbles and half-timbered buildings, and a redoubtable medieval church with a tower you can see for miles around. The shops appear to be quite good, the choice of restaurants is outstanding, the streets are clean and the people are friendly. As I left on Saturday morning the traditional street market was just being set up.
Yes, I would stay here again. Primary was the location to the airport for a morning flight the next day. Having a shuttle was important to get to the airport. The staff was friendly and helpful, The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and varied in the morning. We did not find a restaurant within walking distance, but there were many restaurants that would deliver. This was a Sunday night.
We arrived late in the evening after dark, and were happy to be received by our host. We were impressed by the clean and well-organized accommodations and check-in process. We were happy that the host allowed for a late check-out. Apartment was comfortable. Was perfect for our short stay, easy come, easy go.
Not clean. Too expensive for what offers. Receptionists are kind Room not in line with offer. I stayed in Dorint Fontana and thought this would be new and better experience but it was so dirty and expensive.
