Located in Xi'an, 22 miles from Daming Palace, Xi'an Xianyang International Airport Space Capsule Hotel has rooms with air conditioning. A tiny pod, purely for the purpose of sleeping and being able to chill for a few hours before an early morning flight. The pod has a fan running, which was at a comfortable temperature, a choice of LED lighting, a large mirror, and a small safe. The door locks upon closing, and there is a release button for when you want to exit. My pod also had a chain on the door so I could partially open it if anyone knocked; nobody did, though. Staff can communicate through a speaker, and I was woken up (upon request) with a verbal nudge. There are foot lockers outside the pods, and rubber slippers are provided.

She picked me up from the airport and showed me the local area. The room was OK, with a small TV, and I slept fairly well. The price was great.

The owners of the apartments were so so kind 😊 older chinese couple …. they took us from the airport and back to the airport also. Communication was great. Lady at the customer service speaks english very well. We could pay in €. I highly recommend.
