We were very delayed due to flight disruption but she stayed up until we arrived way past normal check in hours. The room was spacious and very clean and with very comfortable beds and en-suite bathroom. The next morning the hostess provided shuttle service to the airport. She is an adorable kind lady. We felt very special in the way she treated us.

It was a good choice for staying a night to catch a morning flight on the next day if arrive at Vancouver during the evening or night. The airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes from early morning till noon, then from afternoon till midnight.

Nice home away at Vancouver near YVR enjoys a location in Vancouver, 2.5 miles from Sea Island Centre Skytrain Station and 2.8 miles from Bridgeport Skytrain Station. The basic coffee, tea,milk, drinking water, salt, pepper ,oil and sugar are provided. Location is good for us. They provided all necessary appliances. The interior design is very tastefully done. Its 5 minutes walk to the Fraser River Park, 8 minutes walk to Safeway supermarket and plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Highly recommended and near the airport.

A nice room near Vancouver downtown and airport is located in Vancouver, just 2.3 miles from Sea Island Centre Skytrain Station and 2.4 miles from South Granville. Room was close to airport. We found the bed a bit hard, but otherwise all was great. Owner was very friendly and informative.

Hotel was clean, but dated. Upon arrival at the airport it was promised that the shuttle would run every half hour and was shared with Hamon Inn. After waiting 45 minutes, it turned out that they had to be called and that they had their own transport. Misrepresented by Booking.com. Also, breakfast, which I had booked via Booking.com, turned out not to be included by the hotel and so we had to pay separately. So we did not have breakfast. According to reception, this had already been reported to Booking several times.
Vancouver is a beautiful city, with good mix of modern city view and outdoor activities. You can visit the Gastown steam clock and downtown restaurants, but you can also go to outdoor activities like the suspension bridge and Sea to Sky Gondola near Whistler. Public transportation (buses and Skytrain) is relatively expensive but quiet convenient. There are many good restaurants and not too expensive. We spent an average of CAD $30 to $35 for a sit-down meal per person. Burgers and salads are around CAD $14 to $16 per person. The Old Spaghetti Restaurant near the Gastown Steam Clock offers good value for money for dinner.
I was in Richmond for a family wedding so did not avail myself of the amenities of Richmond. Before I moved to Toronto in 1967 I lived in Richmond. The place has really grown and become a first class city.
Convenient for the short trip to Vancouver. Bridgeport Sta. had a large bus terminal and good access to the Tswassan Ferry terminal. There were several supermarkets in this area, though most of them were Asian ones.
needed an upgrade especially the bathroom plaster cracked tiles hanging off wall. the area is delightful with an olde world feeling an authentic boardwalk couple of nice coffee shops and resturaunts
I initially stayed in Richmond in a lovely apartment right downtown. Very walkable and close to public tranist - buses and train. The food court in the Richmond Centre Mall was great and reasonably priced with plenty of variety to choose from. As a single I chose not to go out for dinner etc. The walking off the main street was pleasant as lots of trees etc. Felt very safe. Took a bus out to Steveston for a day - easy to get to and lovely.
Staff was outstanding. I left a diamond ring by the safe and an employee recognized my distress and immediately went up and found it...I was 2 hours out to sea on my cruise and had little hope.. The room was comfortable and had a great view of YVR. Breakfast is not included but they have a very nice restaurant open in the morning. Location is excellent with the hop on and off bus stopping at front entrance. Easy to get around. Staff helped with some excellent restaurant suggestions
