If you can solve the issue of accomodation and traffic then you can enjoy Toronto. More likely you would enjoy visiting a number of sites if you don't drive your own car, by taking public transport and having lots of time.
Everything on your doorstep, subway very easy to manage, people soooo friendly. One negative I wouldn't visit niagra falls again very tacky with high prices, train service the one in morning next service nine thirty at night, so really got ripped off 👍. Found a very nasty knife/blade at niagra train station. Younge street the best.
Toronto is a wonderful city with lots of activities and easy to get around. Taxis and Uber are affordable and the subway and public transit is easy to use. Toronto has a bit of a homeless problem, and many of the homeless seemed to have mental health or addiction issues, so although I felt safe, I did not walk around after dark, and took taxis instead of the subway at night. There are lots of shopping opportunities and excellent restaurants, and a good city to explore during the summer days.
Great city to visit. Lots of fun things to do - Hockey Hall of Fame, football games (Go Argos!), baseball, hockey, basketball.... And once you get out of the city, the surrounding cities (North York, Brampton, Mississauga, Scarborough, etc) are NOT small towns. Most are over 500,000 population, themselves. Transit is everywhere downtown, but the drive is easy. The only drawback is the traffic. Don Mills Parkway and the 401 are always busy, and there is always a delay. But Toronto is great. :)
Toronto is a big city with many things to see and do. Plenty of restaurants and bars. It has an entertainment district, plenty of museums including the Hockey Hall of Fame. Evvia restaurant on Simcoe is great for breakfast. Pho Hung on Spadina is great for noodle soup. On the downside, traffic is a huge issue in Toronto. Whether you are on the highways or main streets, except backups. When using GPS, make sure click on “avoid toll roads.” That way, you won’t get a bill in the mail from Canada. Use the roads with green signs (which are free) while the blue signed ones aren’t free.
Toronto is a city full of things to do. Amazing museums, such as the ROM and the Canadian textile museum. Great restuarants of many ethnicities. Public transport was easy to use, but have change for the buses.
