The house was a much loved period home with many original features. My room was in a timber lined additional "cabin" that looked out both ways onto garden. The bed was very confortable and the owners dog was a delight to be around.

Access to the common kitchen/dining room at any time was a bonus and provided us with an opportunity to prepare one of our evening meals without needing to travel into the nearby town. This enabled us to commune with other guests which was delightful.

Located 5 km from Orbost and 41 km from Lakes Entrance, Snowy River Lodge Motel features air-conditioned rooms, free private parking. The rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV and microwave. Perfect for an overnight stay. Spacious room, very clean and we enjoyed a very peaceful night's rest.

Grocery stores were like 12 minutes drive and I believe it was fair. The views from house were incredibly beautiful and the beach was like 5 minutes walk.
