Everything about the stay was fantastic. The location was superb, and perfect for anyone who enjoys a tranquil setting. The host was excellent and communicated all the necessary points for the stay. The actual accommodation was neat and had all the necessary amenities and wonderful extras like the indoor fireplace, access to a golf cart, etc. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely getaway to Katberg.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, river view and a patio, Laid back luxury canal house is located in St Francis Bay. Absolutely gorgeous place to stay right on the popular canals in St Francis Bay. Even better than the pictures! Modern and tastefully decorated with high end finishes, while maintaining warmth and character. The bedrooms have comfortable beds and good linen, there are heated towel rails in the bathrooms. There is an air conditioner for heating or cooling in the main bedroom. The kitchen is really well equipped with smeg appliances and the scullery even has two dishwashers. The kitchen is very nicely positioned to flow to the outdoor entertainment area with braai and heated pool. There is also a private jetty and small beach which the kids really enjoyed. We also loved the raised lounge with huge tv that was logged in to Netflix and DSTV. It’s a short drive to the shops and st Francis has a few great restaurants to choose from. It’s about a 15 minute drive to the pristine beach in Cape St Francis if you feel you can drag yourself away 🤣 We had a lovely family get together here and hope to be back soon!
