Excellent location just outside of Pretoria, beautiful property nestled within the vast game reserve. Michael and Adri were very friendly and welcoming. Everything in the property was clean and in good condition.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, pool view and a patio, Bushveld Magic is situated in Klipdrift. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The villa features an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. We had a fantastic stay! The house was really well designed with a focus on self made hand crafted furniture of the host. The pool is heated and sun chairs are also provided. There were many pretty detail’s like a birds pond you could watch from the Veranda and weaver nests directly in front of the house. Apart from the lodge our host organised game drives on her own and with her colleague Johannes who are both trained field guides. We had great sightings on the drives. Just to name a few… we saw lions twice, buffalo 3 times, white Rhino and Elephants. We also saw many Antelopes, birds and some small reptiles like tortoises and lizards. In the end our Host Renate organised a Ultralight plane Safari on wich we saw a fresh giraffe kill antelopes and cheetahs ! All in all we can only recommend to stay at Bushveldmagic. The spacious holiday home comes with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with lake views. Well-configured for a family, very good value, immersed in the bush but close to a main road in the reserve, helpful caretakers and owner, comfortable beds.

I split my booking into two as my plans changed - so I have the opportunity to review this place twice. And thankfully so, as there isn't enough time nor space to write all the fantastic things about this property. I have found my true slice of heaven, and this will be my new yearly retreat from the UK. The staff, the villa, the location, and the surroundings all make for an exceptional stay!
The place is just amazing, the design , the comfort of the room , the lovely staff. It is very quiet with only 5 rooms / villas. Lovely communal area by the pool for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bed was extremely comfortable and of course we enjoyed the amazing game drives.
The villa was wonderful, clean. The staff were friendly and really meticulous when cleaning. The villa's location was near a waterhole and salt lick - which led to attracting zebra, wildebeest and giraffes. We made use of the Ngiri Safari's sunrise game drive, alongside the mobile spa services of Shazz' Mobile Spa which involved the masseuse setting up at the villa for us.
The location of our villa, close to the watering hole. The interior and furnishings were gorgeous. The friendliness of the staff. I didn't want to leave. At first I was worried about there not being a TV, but the place is so tranquil and many board games, it allowed for more intimacy with my husband.

Cynthia and Philip are amazing! They greeted us with bright smiles! Our Villa was amazing and so comfortable! Wonderfully equipped with everything we would need to make food and feel at home The king size bed was amazing and the linen felt soft and crisp. We loved that we had such a great view of the park so we could see the animals come and go. The pool and deck were a wonderful spot to relax. The outdoor shower was magical in the morning.
Cozy, comfy, cleanliness, luxurious
The location is amazing. The staff where lovely. The accommodation was outstanding. Rustic but luxurious. Very romantic. My favourite place iv stayed in Dinokeng so far
I love the isolation of the lodge and the units within it. It is luxury living in the bush which is amazing! The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The unit was super clean and cleaned every day with excellence. The finest details are attended to which is why I think this lodge out shines others.
The luxury tent was extremely clean, and they took extra care with the bed linen as well as the bathrooms - super luxurious! The kitchen also had EVERYTHING you could need; good cookware, fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, etc. This place was MUCH better than most resorts we've been to.
