We loved how clean and cozy the cabin was. And seeing the water when the curtains were pulled back in the morning was the best way to start the day!
Big Rapids

The whole house was gorgeous. Perfect vies from the bed and couch of the Muskegon river (Roger’s pond). Quiet neighborhood with tons of wildlife and (otters, swans, deer, etc.) watching the sunrise and sunset from a very private back yard was just what we needed on our long weekend getaway. The kitchen, bathroom, and living areas were very clean and comfortable. I hope to be back soon and I thank the host so much for all of the amenities, hospitality, and sharing their beautiful land with us during the loss of a loved one.
South Haven
Die Unterkunft La joie de vivre besticht durch klimatisierte Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einer Veranda / Patio und ist in South Haven gelegen. From the entrance off the road to the vast forest available to venture into, the place was amazing. The house was incredible. It is a new build. Very nice decor, and the high ceilings were a plus. It was extremely hot when we visited, so the ceiling fans on the terrace were a big bonus. There were plenty of places to read a book and, if you forget yours, there are some to borrow. We did briefly enjoy the hot tub, which added to our relaxation. The bedrooms were very big so there was plenty of room to move about. The guests all said they slept well and the beds were really comfortable. The common areas have an open floor plan and were a nice place to congregate. We did utilize the three car garage to combat the heat for the cars. The location is just about a 5 to 10 minute drive from town and the highway. It felt close enough to be near the action but far enough to enjoy the tranquility. The cell service was not super strong, but there was wi fi available. We absolutely loved our stay, and our host was extremely accommodating. We look forward to our next stay.

Alte Villa aus dem 19. Jh. mit einem ganz eigenen Charme inklusive Abstriche am üblichen sterilen Hotelkomfort. Unser Zimmer war riesig und voller antiker Einrichtungsgegenstände, wie gesagt inklusive weniger Komforteinschränkungen. Die Lage in der Nähe Downtown Detroit und der großen Sportstätten war super. Der Aufenthalt war eine spannende Abwechslung auf unserer Reise.
Eine alte Villa, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Netflix und Disney+ verfügbar. Bestes Frühstück das ich jemals hatte. Haus wird mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail geführt.
Tolle Lage zum Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village und Automotive Hall of Fame ca 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Nach Detroit Downtown ca 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Modernes Hotel mit kostenfreien Parkplätzen vor der Tür. Lecker Frühstück mit Bagels, Frischkäse, Marmelade, Eier-Omelettes und Cornflakes - nur Waffeln haben wir vermisst. Nettes Personal. Es gibt im EG 2 Waschmaschinen und 2 Trockner (6x 25 cent Münzen).
