Nice and quiet and the rooms were well appointed with twin air conditioning if you needed it cool to sleep Yes the rooms are up an hillside from the breakfast/restaurant but they have a complimentary shuttle in a big suv to make the trip easy up and down Pool area often deserted so always lots of sun beds available and some other nice features such as whirlpool and waterfall Breakfasts were a treat and eating in the restaurant in the evening wonderful with a big choice of local dishes as well as some international styles, very reasonable prices too!

We had a fantastic stay in Villa 1 (pool Villa at the top). It is completely private and has stunning view. They have their own taxi service (400-500 Bath return to the other side of the island), but you can also rent a scooter, mountain bike or kayak. They serve great breakfast and authentic Thai food. The hotel beach bar (Chill out bar) serves fantastic cocktails. Most of all the staff is just wonderful.

At night the area is very dark (there's a garden light from a next-door neighbor and a light from a hotel over 400 meters away), and it is very easy to see all the stars in the sky. The sound at night is the sound of the waves crashing and leaves rusting. The beach is on the west coast so the best view is the sunsetting into the sea in the evening. The property provides chairs and beds that you can carry to the beach to relax. The beach is a bit steep but can walk a little bit to find a good spot. In the evening, there'll be a lot of hermit crabs in the area.

Absolute gem, we had one of the bungalows in the front with a gorgeous view. The place is new and really clean. Our hosts were super welcoming and attended to anything we needed. There is no lack of water bottles here and the breakfast in the mornings were beautifully made and delicious. We were treated to wildlife sounds at night and pretty sunrises in the morning. The location is close to everything (the island itself is very small) but definitely a scooter helps - we rented a scooter right at the pier and someone brought our luggage to this hotel for 100 baht

Beautiful hosts who treated us like family, took us to the doctor when my partner was unwell, took my partner on a local fishing experience, took us on a long boat trip to nearby islands and caves, prepared beautiful and different breakfast every morning, provided easy access to motorbikes to explore the island, showed us the best Thai warmth and hospitality you could experience.

My husband and I arrived by car and were greeted by the hosts who were super friendly and helpful.The accommodation was near the hosts property and therefore we were able to use the pool if we wished.The gardens were beautiful ,it felt so tranquil being there especially at night .There is some building work going on nearby due to this being a new area that is being developed but that didn't bother us for we were out all day.There are shops and a market nearby, the beach is over 1 hr walk away so a car / bike is recommended especially to go exploring to other areas.The accommodation was spotless. The bed is very comfortable, T.V with Netflix, a well functioned kitchen.Instant hot water to have a shower.We would highly recommend staying here.
