The village has a great bus connection to Stockholm and a ferry line to the outer archipelago. A bakery where you can also get warm lunches is right around the corner. All in all, we had such an amazing and relaxing time and would definitely go there again when visiting Stockholm county ☀️

They were very responsive throughout our stay, providing us with many recommendations on things to do, places to visit, where to eat, as well as tips on beautiful secluded sites away from the tourist masses. The hosts have also been generous on borrowing their bikes to go around the island a couple times. The place is perfect for a simple countryside getaway in two. It’s located within walking distance various sites, restaurants, supermarket, boat station etc. It is very clean, with all the necessary amenities. The shower facility nearby is modern, Clean and easy to access. The island itself is a typical island in the Swedish archipelago, with various pine trees, berry bushes, moss, lichens, deers, lizards, marine birds etc. and the Islanders being good stewards for this.

You can use two bikes in order to discover all the nice places. We enjoyed the time.

We were a family of four and it was perfect for us. We arrived by flight to Arlanda at midnight very tired but in 10 minutes by car we were inside a warm wellcoming house, all clean and beautiful.
