Set in Sibiu, 1.9 km from Piata Mare Sibiu and 2 km from Union Square, Andira Residence offers air conditioning. What a lovely apartment and fantastic host. Got the internet issue sorted in no time, helped with euro exchange and always responsive. The apartment is clean, spacious and lots of tea and coffee is on the house. This is slow tourism at its best, where everything from the waking up to the joyful chirping of birds in the trees outside the window, the sound of the nearby stream, the sumptuous breakfast with local produce, the benches on scattered around the garden so conducive to enjoying a good read are all meant to be savoured, taken in and enjoyed. Cottage Bytheriver is set in Arpaşu de Sus, 38 km from Făgăraș Fortress, and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden are available on-site. Everything was wonderful about the stay at this location. From the huge nature area with access to the river in the courtyard, to the interiors which were very simply yet tastefully decorated, to the hosts which were extremely helpful if we needed anything.
