Beautiful house in a very intimate setting, it was clean, spacious, and comfortable! The house was equipped with everything we needed, including the barbecue. Access and parking was easy as well - the hosts were very friendly and provided lots of useful info about the house and activities/restaurants nearby. The jacuzzi is also a must try when staying here!

It's incredibly cozy, with no phone or Wi-Fi connection, so you're completely off the grid—perfect for disconnecting from the world. The heat comes from a wood-burning stove, and you can chop your own wood, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. I loved every moment of it. The dogs on the property are super cute and friendly, and the owner is welcoming and helpful. While the owner is still learning English, communication was easy enough through a translator, and it worked perfectly. If you're a nature lover looking for peace and quiet, this place is a must-visit. Some of my friends found it challenging to adjust to the lifestyle, but I personally enjoyed every bit of it.

Conacul Caterinei Căsuța din Povesti terletak di Polovragi dan menawarkan basikal percuma, taman dan kemudahan barbeku. Great little self contained new build cosy house. I can see why this host gets 10/10 every time, I was unsure about remote working in rural Romania but stayng here exceeded expectations ! It was peaceful, safe lovely area to explore and I felt totally looked after. I highly recommend this place for the best of Romanian hospitality !!! I'll be back.
