At first we were hesitant to book here because of the location, but we are so happy we did! After spending 2 weeks in the jungle, this place was perfect to relax. If you need some quiet in the chias of Iquitos, this place is worth the 20 min Tuk Tuk ride. The rooms were very cosy and nicely decorated. The living room space was a great to have… felt like a luxury to be able to lie on a sofa! The kitchen Is well equipped and there is a supermarket close by so you can cook the meals you like.
Great and attentive staff. Our Spanish is a bit lacking but the staff all spoke fluent English which made communication much easier. We had concerns about getting our heavy suitcase upstairs without a lift but they kindly brought our suitcase up and down for us. They even made us an Ayahuasca diet friendly breakfast for the morning that we left for our retreat. Could not rate this place highly enough. If you need a clean, comfortable, well located stay in Iquitos you won’t be disappointed. We will return here.
Place is more than valuable for money.... if you don't expect luxury .... perfect place to stay! All facilities are nearby!
A really beautifully location and really nice staff. The staff and the people of the village a really helpfull and always want to help. Beside that Iquitos is a hidden pearl of Peru. Really nice place to go to and nice tour with good guides. The guides are english or Spanish. Depend on what you want. Really want the thank the staff (Pablo, Laura, Levi and all other staff) thanks you made our trip here
Interesting building. Beautiful old privat villa turned into an hotel. Rooms very big with 5 mt high ceiling. Simple and charming. Good feeling.
A little bit of luxury
Loved the simplistic comfort of my room and this hostel overlooking the river. Chip and Yessica's hospitality was fantastic, so much so I went back after attending my jungle retreat. Very helpful, much appreciated on a first trip to Iquitos.
