Beautifully presented 1900s villa that was super easy to find on the Forgotten Highway. So much thought and care has been put into every corner of the house. The resident 'Kitten' is the sweetest cat and insisted on sleeping cuddles, which we loved. There is so much space, and fully equipped for up to 8 people. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked, and the eggs in the fridge are direct from the chickens out the back. The views from the villa are peaceful and the beds are super comfortable. We left an item behind and Amanda worked her magic to get it back to us within a few hours; an impressive result given the remoteness of the villa.

This is an exceptional property immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. High end bedding and lovely furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped for any possible need. Beautiful serene garden and in a quiet bucolic setting. We could stay here long term.

Absolutely beautiful stay. Incredible ocean views from the bath. All details are cared for including lovely automatic fireplace to enjoy and electric blankets. Very appreciated after a long day hiking Tongariro trail. Kitchen was well equipped. One of our favourite spots to stay in our whole trip.

Best possible way to see in the new year. The space was perfect. Sun in the afternoons. And those mountains. wow. and the sweet lovely dog was a bonus! and thanks to the host, lovely to have a laugh :-)

Set in Tataraimaka, 19 km from Paritutu Rock and 19 km from Port Taranaki, Tataraimaka Farmlet offers a garden and air conditioning. Our stay at Tataraimaka Farmlet was incredible. We loved the tiny home and it was stocked with all the essentials. The home is super clean, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and the towels and linen were prepared for our stay. Therese is a wonderful host who was there for all our questions and offered great tips and recommendations. There was no delay in communication and we really enjoyed each interaction with her. The animals at the farm are so beautiful, we loved Rocky the border collie as well as the sheep and pigs which we got to hand feed as much as we wanted. The location of the property is perfect for those who either want to kick back and relax, or like us- want to do the beautiful hikes around mt Taranaki, surf the point breaks along the coast or head into town for a shop or a bite to eat. We loved our time here and hope we can make it back again sometime. Thank you Therese and your family.

Photos do not do it justice it was an absolute beautiful stay. Plenty of space to enjoy being together and also have separate spaces. Great communition and very prompt responses. Location was handy and very close to town and everywhere else. The sea views are absolutely worth it.
