The place was sooooo comfortable. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer just to unwind from travelling. Everything a traveler needed to feel at home.

Situated in Lake Tekapo and only 44 km from Mt. Dobson, Flat Rock features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has garden views. Weather was awful when we arrived. Pouring with rain and windy so it was great to have a home from home place to stay that was nice and cosy. The weather improved the following day allowing us to experience the beauty of Lake Tekapo.

Situated in Arthur's Pass and only 300 metres from Arthur's Pass National Park, The Tussocks, Arthur's Pass features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing location! Peaceful and serene. No one around. An older cottage, but with modern facilities (fantastic bathroom, newer washer/dryer machines, comfy beds --enough for at least 4 people, probably more--, cozy living room with wood stove). Close enough to the 1 restaurant and 1 cafe/shop in Arthur's pass (1-minute drive), but away from the road so there's no traffic or other people. Great hosts with great communication.

Its was the highlight of all the places we stayed. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I can highly recommend this property.

There are plenty of free parking spots on both sides the road. It is a short walking distance to botanic garden, art gallery,museum and restaurants. The Cafe at the corner of the property makes nice coffee.
