The house with big windows overlooking the mountains and water was amazing ! It’s also a very good location to see the northern lights, which we saw three times !! We also tried the jacuzzi which was so cozy. Perfect location too, mostly if you have a car to do day trips to the fjords all around. The staff was super nice and in general we absolutely loved our stay there, recommend 200% !

Located in Kvaløya and only 2.5 km from Norskesanden Beach, Fantastic view, quiet and relaxing by the sea provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Everything!!! The house offers all you need and has a very practical floor plan. Downstairs, the entry is tiled and has enough space for all your gear and clothing, as well as a separate room with a washer and dryer. Upstairs is all the living space with heated, wooden floors. The kitchen is fully equipped (even with a steamer), the bathroom stocked with toiletries. The interior style is very appealing, the beds super comfortable, the cleanliness meticulous and the view from the large living room amazing. The two balconies are perfect for northern lights watching, and when the aurora is hidden behind clouds, the large TV and the comfy couches make for a great movie night. The house is located literally at the end of the road in Tromvik, so there is no passing traffic at all. You can reach various points of interest/trailheads within 10 to 60 minutes. Anne and Steinar who live next door are the most warm-hearted and welcoming hosts. We really had a great time and can highly recommend this vacation rental. The pictures we added are all taken from the balcony or in front of the house.

The house was spacious, very clean, and felt like a home <3 the property is on the water — it’s very beautiful and serene. There was a sauna on-site that we used for an extra fee. It was awesome!

Set in Bakke in the Kvaløya Island region, 5 person holiday home in Straumsbukta features a terrace. It is a small cottage close to the water. Tromso is 40 minutes away and you will need a car. But if you are looking for a quiet place for BBQ, meditation, or hiking, this is a great place. Do not expect any services or restaurants around. It will be just you.
