Situated in Ringebu, in a historic building, 2 km from Ringebu Stave Church, Skjeggestad Gjestehus is a villa with free bikes and garden. Staying at the property felt like sleeping in a museum! It is a really old wooden house that served multiple generations and you could feel it! It does not mean that the house is dirty and falling apart, quite the opposite - there is a lot of modern facilities like internet, A/C, dishwasher etc, and everything was so clean it was far beyond my expectations! We were also gifted with fresh eggs for breakfast. A lot of thanks and respect to the property owner, and looking forward to staying there again!

The kitchen was equipped with everything. the two fireplaces were very cozy. you didn't want to leave the bedroom anymore. The bathroom was as big as some apartments. The location of the house was picturesque over a valley with a beautiful view. Our host Ole was very friendly, we were happy to meet him. Unfortunately we were only there for 1 night, but we will be back, then for a longer period of time. If you are nearby, book the house. it's a dream!!!

The location was a 4-minute drive to free parking at the ski resort, and the home is nothing short of spectacular: beautifully furnished, incredible kitchen, comfortable beds and living space, fast Wi-Fi, and immaculately clean. Host responded quickly to messages. Highly recommended, and hope to stay there again.
