Features of the interior are modern and high quality. you’d be able to take the bus into the area of town where you see the tombs which will take you 10min. else a brief taxi ride isn’t expensive. breakfast was served nicely in the hanok. it was all amazing!

Located in Gyeongju, 25 km from Seokguram and 2.2 km from Gyeongju Station, Hanok Stay Ohneul offers air conditioning. Place was easy enough to find. Host was great and met us at the street to explain the parking rules and how to access the property etc. very friendly and helpful. Location is close enough but also away from the main drag. We walked to get groceries and there are plenty of restaurants. Buses are easy to get to the main historic sites too. Great traditional space place with the modern amenities. The heater floors were great for the chilly nights!

Situated within 11 km of Gyeongju World and 22 km of Seokguram, Hanok Stay SungHyeDang features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Gyeongju. The host and the room were perfect! It’s on a quiet street about 7 min cab to the main town. We were able to walk to our hike on our 2nd day where our host recommended.

Hanok Dasi Bom 101, a property with a garden, is set in Gyeongju, 22 km from Seokguram, 1.8 km from Gyeongju Station, as well as 1.6 km from Cheomseongdae. Beautiful house! The location was indeed what other travellers have described - near the attractions yet quiet enough. The alley that you enter to get here is well lighted too and easy to find from the main road. The snacks and drinks were a nice gesture. The futon was comfortable too

Set within 11 km of Gyeongju World and 22 km of Seokguram, Wonhwaroo features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Gyeongju. Was really impressed with the guesthouse that preserved the old style hanbok, while prioritizing comfort. The view was great and was really impressed with the service and the friendliness of the staff and owners.

Located within 8.8 km of Gyeongju World and 22 km of Seokguram, B&G House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Gyeongju. Excellent value for money, good location by the train station. Host was great, and Dante is a lovely dog. Breakfast also yummy and filling.

Located 12 km from Gyeongju World, Yasun Gallery provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The hostess was really warm and welcoming and she provided us with a traditional Korean lifestyle in everything, from beds to breakfast. Breakfast was especially amazing because it provided us with a great variety of traditional Korean foods and flavours, from soups and teas to fish and fruits. All in all, a very pleasant stay!

Boasting a garden, heated pool and mountain views, Hanok Stay Yeoyeo is situated in Gyeongju. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We loved this Hanok stay, very quietly situated, it was a traditional Hanok house, but new with every comfort.

Another world pension, a property with a terrace, is set in Gyeongju, 7.7 km from Gyeongju World, 23 km from Seokguram, as well as 8.1 km from Gyeongju World Culture Expo Park. Very quiet and relaxing place. It is located 20 minutes from the city, so it is a perfect place to take a break from the crowd. Very clean and comfortable, the bedroom is huge and it has kitchen appliances and private bathroom. You have to bring your own food as there is not restaurants near by. It would be better if you have your own car, because public transportation is a bit difficult. However, you can also call a taxi (not very easy if you don’t have a local phone number). Thankfully, the owner Mr Lee is the most amazing host!!! He will help you with everything, general information about transport, attractions, food. He is very kind and will look after you always, he made us feel so welcome in his house that we can not wait to come back :)
