On top of that the staff is great with a really detailed attention in keeping the rooms tidy every single day and multiple times a day + a chef that cooked us the most delicious dishes + they arrange transport depending on your needs ! The perfect mix to just lay back and enjoy your holidays!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, mountain view and a terrace, Milimani Villa-Fully airconditioned Villa is set in Shela. The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

Umma House has a terrace and is situated in Lamu, within just 400 metres of Lamu Museum and 500 metres of Lamu Fort. Guests staying at this villa have access to a balcony. Thanks to the housekeeper Fadir our stay was 10. We spent 3 nights in the house with all the comforts and the incredible kindness and closeness of Fadir. He gave us many recommendations like the guide Abu who show us around very professionally and close, everything was in detail. We also thank the cook Barak who came to make us breakfast and dinner, it was incredible! If we ever come back to Lamu we will come back to Umma. Asante sana!

Lots of advice and recommendations where to eat. Also easy to find in the maze of Lamu, close to the jetty but far enough for a peaceful stay

Authentic Swahili style villa Milele House features a balcony and is situated in Lamu, within just 300 metres of Gallery Baraka and 400 metres of Lamu Museum. We loved this property! It was such a fun stay and different than all our other hotels on our trip. Totally recommend the 3rd floor room because it has its own balcony. The breezes in the morning out there were incredible. Jamhuri was a great host and helped us book a walking tour and sunset dhow. Will be back!
