The view from the hotel is very nice, located near the sea and easy to access. It was spacious and clean, with all necessary facilities which made the stay very comfortable. The host was also very welcoming, and the information provided on booking were matching reality. In summary, it was a great experience, I would definitely recommend it.

Opened in February 2018, GOTEN residence is set in Fujinomiya and offers accommodation in a remodeled 80 year old wooden villa. Cleanliness, space for group, ambience, laundry facilities, very clean.

Villa Yumigahama มีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ห่างจากหาด Yumigahama Beach 90 ม. The best experience in Japan. Owner offered to take me to the villa from the bus station late night, having a friendly chat which made me feel like home. Most importantly, the villa is super good for like 8 people, well-equipped and perfect view of the forest and the seaside. Quite a pity didn’t get a chance to have a barbecue because of the weather, which gonna be nice. (Since limited restaurants nearby at night, better bring some food. Heard that only a few restaurants offer nice food there.) I didn’t expect the next day the staff offered to drive me to the sakura festival free, completely becoming my personal guide. Such a great chat on the car and the staff also drived me to the station. The staff even send me message telling me to contact them whenever I got trouble in Japan. That warm feeling is a true gift when we traveling abroad.

Ramjet Sotoura Aqua Beach House - 1 minute Walk to the Beach and BBQ ! The whole house has been fully renovated in a modern beach mood way. The living room offers a large volume which is comfortable. The house is very well equipped and very close to the beach 👍 The host Billy was very kind in bringing us some beach games on the day we arrived.

The house, which is a large, two story old building that was likely originally for a two-generation family, is beautiful inside. The first floor has two large tatami rooms next to a hallway with large windows. There are futons in the closets for extra guests. It also has a spacious kitchen/living room with a comfortable small sofa and large wooden table that could easily accommodate 6 or more people. The bathtub is large and stone, with onsen water. It takes a while to fill up, but is a lovely experience to enjoy. Upstairs is another kitchen/living room area that is L shaped. In the living-room end, four beds are laid out (two were pushed together to make one large bed). They are incredibly comfortable with warm feather comforters. There is an additional tatami room with a large bed and a small room where one could telework with another wrap-around sofa and a small wooden table. The internet is spotty in the town itself, but fast in the house. Outside is a lovely hinoki foot bath for two people. Outside is a large kawazuzakura (sakura) tree in the parking area, which means that you can enjoy the flowers without having to even go to the riverside! It is truly just steps away from the house. We were very grateful for the excellent location, as most travelers stayed in ryokan farther away from this central location, and perhaps as a result, the area became more sparce in the late afternoon/early evening. This allowed us to enjoy the cherry blossoms along the avenue by the road to the fullest. Despite being right next to a road where lots of tourists pass, it is very quiet in the house, and at night (by 9PM) the roads are almost completely devoid of both cars and people. The house is extremely clean. There are a few small areas, like the bathroom sink, that look less clean, but this is just because the house itself is old, and should not cause anyone concern.

The hosts were wonderful, taking their time to explain everything in detail. The sauna, available for a small additional fee, is absolutely worth it. The setting is beautiful, perfect for enjoying nature and family time. The facilities are excellent, offering everything you might need, including a water purifier. You can also watch Disney and Netflix on a big projector from a cozy sofa, which was perfect for our rainy evening. The highlight of my stay was getting a tattoo. Reina is an exceptional artist. We chatted, she showed her portfolio, and the next morning she created/placed my tattoo. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating. If you're looking for a local artist who specializes in fine line tattoos, Reina is the one to see!

Pros: Inhouse onsen was the highlight during our stay. Unit is next to the river and so calming. I could have hot ramen outside of the house during the night. Owner was a couple, and they were so welcoming. Initially there was no instruction in collecting the key. Luckily the door was not locked and the owner just stay next door.
