It was incredible. Everything I imagined a traditional Japanese style home to be. Plenty of space. A calming aesthetic. Quality home. A lot of outdoor space which must be wonderful in good weather. Plenty of heating. Plenty of blankets. Pyjamas supplied. I wish I could live there - that’s how beautiful it is. I am so grateful for the chance to stay here. Good value for the space. Also, I have to thank the hosts for being so kind, warm and friendly in their communication and for being so generous and helpful. This would be an ideal base for exploring Naoshima. I walked to Uno Port in 30 mins, but without backpack it could be quicker. Probably there is a bus but I didn’t look. It felt so nice staying in a town not routinely visited by tourists. After the crowds of Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka etc this was a welcome respite and a chance to slow down and see a small town, real life.

An idyllic, tranquil, traditional residence, with all the modern conveniences that one could ask for . The host couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you Victoria!

Nastanitev Castle Town Contemporary Ryokan 天籟 - TENRAI - se nahaja v mestu Takahashi in nudi teraso, brezplačen WiFi ter razgled na vrt. It is a very beautiful and relaxing place. Everything about the indoor decorations and garden makes you feel at peace. The bath is something you have to try! It felt great! The house is also in a good location. Everything necessary is within walking distance. If you want to visit Bitchu Matsuyama Castle, you can walk up to it. On the way down, you can visit the Samurai House and the Raikyū-ji garden. Then, go back to the house to take a rest before you continue the tour to the Takahashi City Museum of Local History. The host is also one of the nicest people I have met. It is easy to ask if you need something or have a question. Very friendly. Had a great stay 👍

Nastanitev 滔々 阿知の庄 蔵の宿 toutou Achinosho Kura no Yado se nahaja v mestu Kurashiki, 8,8 km od znamenitosti Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park in 10 km od znamenitosti Tanematsuyama Park, in ponuja... The house is amazing! It is a completely modernized old store house ("kura") with excellent facilities and comfortable sleeping. The kitchen, bath and living room downstairs are pristine and the downstairs bedroom is very comfortable. The upstairs tatami room is huge and the smell of the new tatami is wonderful. My daughter's family slept very comfortably on futon in that room. The tableware in the kitchen comes from the related ceramic gallery and is beautiful and functional. They even serve fresh fruit, croissants and rolls with butter and jam for breakfast. We appreciated everything about the house!
