Cute, cozy, clean and comfortable. The little notes and labels throughout the flat were very helpful and very adorable. The kitchen was well outfitted, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom and laundry area very nice. The only negative is that the place is so nice that you may not want to go out sightseeing, but rather stay in theively apartment.

Oh, this place is both charming with its atmosphere of old-time Japan, as well as greatly located if you are for visiting nearby located old post towns of Tsumago or Magome. Spacious rooms with comfy futons, endless spaces with bedrooms, living room, bathrooms and - which was a fantastic discovery - a Japanese style all wooden bathroom with a bathtub. This was such a relaxing experience after we travelled from the north. 7-eleven is at walking distance, the host is extremely helpful, free parking space just 50m from this beautiful wooden, old, atmospheric, all Japanese style house. We loved everything about it - it had even the hearth in the middle of the living room, like the ones you'd see in the samurai movies. We felt as if we travelled back in time for 200 years! We simply loved it!

Nestled in the beautiful nature in Hakuba, Big Bear Chalets & Apartments offers well-appointed accommodation fitted with kitchen facilities and an en suite bathroom. the studio was a great size for two people. location was good with plenty of bars & restaurants around us. chair lift a 30 second walk from the apartments.

Boasting a balcony with mountain views, an open-air bath and a garden, 城下町の一棟貸し 今来 Konrai - Private-use guesthouse can be found in Matsumoto, close to Matsumoto Station and 4.7 km from The Japan... Clean. Conveniently located, 5 mins walk to Aeon mall and 15 mins to castle and popular streets. We loved the homely feel of the house, though toilets were cold during winters due to it being located at the corners of the house where heating did not reach. Shower room was excellent, new, warm and strong pressure. As others have commented, bedding was on traditional Japanese futon. Hence a little thin for us who are used to spring mattresses. But we packed on additional futons which made it more comfortable. The lady who met us was polite and friendly.
