The property is cozy and renovated while keeping intact the traditional Japanese style. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped with a quality selection of coffees, teas and sake and it's possible to chat with other guests as well. The room was spacious, bright and comfortable and walking around the house corridor with the splendid view is part of the beautiful experience. I highly recommend to order dinner through Kenji-San as the Katsuo no Tataki (bonito)was the best meal I had during the whole trip. The views are amazing and the traditional guest house is very well kept and maintained. And the FOOD! WOW! The food was delicious and as good as you would get in the best of restaurants! It was great to get to eat with and talk with our hosts so we could better understand each other’s cultures and experiences. Such a highlight of our journey to Japan. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Go off the beaten path a little to better understand this beautiful country.
