The location is spectacular in a remote village - although it's a bit far to drive from Egilsstadir, Seydisfjordur, and Neskaupstadur, getting to Mjoifjordur and coming in and out of the valley was one of our favorite places in Iceland. The cottage was one of the most reasonably priced places we stayed and was well equipped. It was great to have our own hot tub. The kids loved the loft and playing fetch with the owner's dog.

Set along the Seydisfjordur Fjord, these cottages are less than 3 km from the town of Seydisfjorudur. Each offers impressive panoramic views and a large terrace with an outdoor hot tub and BBQ. The view is outstanding, the hot tub is perfect... I mean, it's a perfect choice.

These holiday homes all offer a private terrace with barbecue facilities, in addition to a well-equipped kitchenette with free coffee and tea. Egilsstadir town centre is a 8-minute drive away. Very homey and well maintained. We had a great time, the place is very cozy and next to nature

We can't say enough about the cottage. We stayed for 4 nights, but would love to have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet with a stunning view. The cabin itself was spacious compared to the many other cabins we have stayed in, and it was meticulously clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a grill that was easy to use. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom had blackout shades, which are important during the summer months. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We'd absolutely stay here again.
