Never seen such a place in Bihar. Walls have art. Furniture is antique and design is Portuguese. Yellow walls, red floor. Hosts are warm. Home cooked vegan meal. Unbelievable. In the middle of nowhere. It is a heritage property. My dog Luna loved it. Caretaker Rupesh was sweet. Mind blowing. Ideal for Outstation traveller. Doesn’t feel like Bihar for a change.Awesome balcony, farm fresh veggies. If only alcohol was allowed in BIhar. 10/10 without any second thoughts. I am definitely coming back here soon.

Couldn’t have been better. Staff really friendly but not invasive. Perfect for a meditation retreat as it’s 30 mins walk from the famous mahabodhi temple. Only £1 for a tuktuk there. Really clean! Perfectly clean even! Food is ok. Free water - plenty as needed. Spa is available always without booking. I came at quiet time but even then was surprised by this as a regular person in Hotels. Great library about relevant Buddhist things - really useful. Gym is basic but sufficient.
Luxury hotel with all the facilities and courteous staff
Probably the best hotel in Bodhgaya. Modern design, well kept grounds with swimming pool. Quiet, well appointed room. A real retreat from the noise and activity of the town.
The staff were competent, helpful and welcoming. Clean and luxurious rooms. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Highly recommended.
The impeccable service and hospitality of your staff made our retreat most enjoyable. We were very impressed by the responsiveness of you and your staff from the planing stage till the end of our retreat. What is most commendable is that numerous request were all but acceded.
Marasa Sarovar is a tranquil property. The access is through a narrow village street so it may feel like you’re not on the right track but as you enter the gates you feel the beautiful ambience take over. It’s very spacious well designed and I loved the pool area.
The family is top notch, they are attentive, charismatic and Mukesh's wife cooks very well!! If you need help Mukesh is always available!! The residence is close to many shops, close to the train station too!! My room was great!! everything was simple, not luxurious, but it was perfect!! Air conditioning worked very well, there was never a lack of water, if you want hot water just ask the Host, he brings it in a very large bucket and the water is really hot!! I intend to return to India and I will definitely stay with this family!!
The staff is very kindly. Rooms clean and spacious. Good project to grow up in the tourist area people from village around. Good position, 10min by walk to the center The food is good
