We are just back from a family trip to Bettystown and the house was excellent. Very spacious, and all the facilities you could want. The check in was very easy, and Mark was very prompt at coming back with any queries we had. The house was clean and well stocked with towels, toilet rolls, etc, and there was even some groceries in the fridge, which was a lovely surprise! We cooked on one of the nights, and all saucepans, dishes, etc were available for us. The house itself is a 10/15 minute walk to the beach, but it is a lovely area, and a nice walk. Located on the top of a rise, in the midst of farmland, this was truly a quiet, restful location. Due to the rural location the key was left in the door, so we let ourselves in on arrival. We were greeted outside by the owner's dog, who loves to play catch with anyone willing to toss the ball to her. Peter came by a little while later and introduced himself and gave us a suggestion to visit Trim Castle as we continued on our journey. The two downstairs bedrooms were of a good size, with the main bathroom located on the same level. Upstairs were 4 twin beds with an ensuite shower room. The beds were comfortable, all facilities were clean and well presented. Peter was a friendly and welcoming host, we were glad to have made this stop on our journey.

This was a lovely comfortable clean lodge with everything needed. Very cosy a christmassey with a little tree up which we loved. The host Peter was a gentleman and helped us out big time to get us to a wedding as no taxi was available. We were greeted by Patch the dog on arrival she was the best!

The Groom's Cottage er 7 km frá Tara-hæðinni og státar af garðútsýni. Gististaðurinn er 8 km frá Solstice-listamiðstöðinni og er með ókeypis WiFi. Orlofshúsið er með flatskjá og stofu. The cottage was beautiful, and the fireplace sealed the cozy vibe!
