Fabulous stay for my husband's birthday on July 2nd. Lovely warm welcome from the receptionist. Great surprise upgrade to the amazing Lady Alexandra suite and a happy birthday desert plate on the dining table .Both dinner and breakfast were brilliant and the staff were very friendly and attentive I would highly recommend this luxury hotel and hope to return again in future.
Our second time in Barrow Lane. We had a great time. Cannot beat the location. Right in the centre if town, with pub and supermarket right across the road. Playground and shop also super close. And of course the Barrow river that offers peaceful walk to next village. I think we'll be back for a third time soon.
Very clean, quiet place, closer to all the amenities. Nice warm house you want to come and relax. The village is historical and beautiful. Make sure you go for a boat ride also for a walk, there are many hidden gems. A nice pint in the local pub will not disappoint you.

The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel had a cosy feel to it, the bar was nice and it also had a restaurant. The price we got it for was very good. The receptionist was very helpful with any questions we had. We booked the bar for our food and we were very impressed with the quality. The food is exceptional but you will have to wait a while to be served. The village of Borris was a great location if you're into hiking and walking. There are great walks nearby.
Leilinbridge is a very small village close to Gowran and Kilkenny. It's perfect for racegoers to Gowran Park who don't want the hustle and bustle of Kilkenny. It has excellent facilities, including the original pub, and a large, riverside deck which is fabulous for enjoying the sunset over the river and bridge. Rooms are comfortable, food is very good and the staff are friendly and attentive.
Top hotel in a beautiful village, very professionally run business. It's probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Food is incredible 😋 Alan Foley runs an excellent kitchen, and you have to visit to really appreciate the standard of the food being served.
Bryan and Martin have created a tiny village surrounded by lush, green, fragrant gardens. The grounds are stunning—filled with flowers, herbs, trees, and songbirds. The apartment had everything one needs for a short stay. Breakfast which is stocked in the refrigerator is fresh and delicious. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, including picking us up at the train station. I highly recommend a stay at Kilgraney house.
