Xanthoula was very friendly and helpful. Kitchen nicely equipped. Lots of greenery on the road side of the veranda to provide privacy and shade. Some noise from the road from people and some cars passing by. But it was nice to watch and no problem at bedtime as traffic became very rare and the closed window allowed a good night's rest. Property very close to everything.

Icarus home is a beachfront property set in Kouniádhoi, 11 km from Folk Museum of Vrakades and 18 km from Kampos. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge. This was one of the most beautiful places to stay. Alex was there to greet us and Jannus his father said good bye and gave is delicious grapes. The house was super comfortable, totally peaceful and an oasis of calm. We had a wonderful view of the sea and sunset over the sea from our balcony. The lovely (almost) private beach was a 2-3 minute walk down. The sea was crystal clear, a beautiful blue and we could see the fishes swimming with us. An amazing bay to swim in - even on the wavy days. Naz beach is 10 minutes away, where we enjoyed fantastic food at Thea's tavern. If you want to get away from everything, read, relax, and swim - peaceful even in the height of August holidays, Icarus house is for you. Ikaria has the friendliest and most helpful people. I now know why Ikaria is a blue zone and why people live for ever - beauty, sun, sea, good food, lots of hills and mountains to climb and a friendly, socially cohesive people.

Located within 1.1 km of Kyparissi Beach and 1.2 km of Evdilos Beach, Anarrousa Studios & Apartments provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Évdhilos. Spacious, clean and comfortable apartment with ocean views and direct access to the beach that was almost private as it was never crowded. Enjoyed sitting on my terrace overlooking the ocean or sitting in the garden under the shade of trees. Best place to totally wind down and relax. There is a restaurant and cafe across the road and kitchen is equipped for cooking. Costa was a great host, very friendly and made me feel at home.

Located in Raches and only 12 km from Folk Museum of Vrakades, Monopati Eco Villas provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The room was so clean and well decorated. The patio and the view were amazing. Maria helped us a lot. She is very good in communication and also gave us really nice local suggestions. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a stay in the mountains.

Situated in Akamatra, 3.9 km from Koskina Castle and 7.6 km from Kampos, Traditional house in Akamatra square features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The house is located at the most beautiful village and at the best location, right at the center of the island! It is a bit further from the touristic side of Ikaria, which is Raches, but it holds the best fests , less crowded and and more original in my opinion! In a close distance there’s a bakery, a cafeteria, a restaurant and of course the port with all the amenities! The house is cozy and bright, very well accommodated, very clean and super comfy for two people even a family with two children! It feels like a real home so the experience is great! Plus, the hosts are so kind and lovely and they even saved us from big trouble when we messed up with our return tickets! They’re great people and I am very happy to get to know them! When I come back to Ikaria, I will definitely stay at this place!
