Everyone had their own space and we were comfortable. Our hosts were very helpful with questions and the house was stocked with everything that was needed. Located 32 km from University of Oxford, 34 km from Walton Hall and 36 km from Royal Shakespeare Theatre, The Bakehouse provides accommodation set in Chipping Norton. We had an extremely comfortable stay at The Bakehouse. We got a little bit lost but the host was very responsive and great to communicate with throughout. The cottage was adorable and cosy. A great location , right in the center of town but still felt very private. A shame there is no parking. However , the free long stay parking was just a few minutes walk away. We can’t wait to come back !

Every room was thoughtfully designed, making it feel like a home away from home. The outdoor space was just as lovely, perfect for relaxing and taking in the surroundings. The host was incredible—super responsive and made sure everything was ready for us. Great location, and the host’s local tips were spot-on. Definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance

Jackdaws Shepherds Hut is set in Epwell, 30 km from Blenheim Palace, 35 km from Warwick Castle, as well as 45 km from University of Oxford. I loved how compact but cosy the hut was, we stayed one for one night, and it was only 20 minutes from The Diddly Squat Farm. Jackie was a great host and made us beautiful food from the Saddle in. The bed was comfortable, I had the best nights sleep. Breakfast was provided, and a shop a 10 minute walk away. Would recommend and would come again.

Serena is an excellent host, she maintained contact will me and made the whole booking process stress free ! We will be booking this property again as it is perfect for our needs.
