Set in Tarves in the Grampian region, Cosy and modern 1 bedroom garden house - very dog friendly! offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This is really the perfect place for us.. in amongst the flora and fauna there is this.. the happiest and most content I’ve ever felt in a guest accommodation.. the kitchen garden… the small touches like fresh laid eggs, and fresh cut flowers just made us feel welcomed.. our dog who had been a bit off was immediately calm… not to mention the extraordinary vantage point for bird watching

Boasting garden views, Alba - Charming boutique forest view cabin with hot tub in Ballater features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 15 km from Balmoral Castle. Cabin was clean and warm. Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. Going up ladder for top bed good for older kids.

Offering a garden and river view, The Fiddichside Inn is located in Aberlour, 30 km from Huntly Castle and 35 km from Grantown Museum. Beautiful setting, comfortable space with 2 bedrooms/baths and full kitchen & living. Could have stayed comfortably for several days. Owner very responsive. The attached bar was a fun place to meet the locals. Angus, the bartender, was very hospitable, & knowledgable about the flavor profiles of the wide variety of spirits available. We felt very welcome while the locals regaled us with stories of their families and the area’s history. Remember it’s a bar not a pub-they don’t serve food but they can recommend a couple of restaurants. The outdoor seating by the river was an added plus! Definitely worth a visit!

Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, Brylach Steading is a holiday home situated in a historic building in Aberlour, 12 km from Elgin Cathedral. It’s nestled in near the woods and it’s peaceful. The surrounding view is majestic especially with an exclusive castle nearby. The premise felt safe bec it has an open compound and my dog can roam freely inside the compound.

Set in Ballater and only 15 km from Balmoral Castle, Aileen - Unique tiny house with wood fired roll top bath in heart of the Cairngorms offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free... The location was fantastic, a quite location set still only a short drive along the road for the village. The tiny house was such a high standard, when I seen the pictures before booking and then the size of the house I thought no way it’s that big in side but it really was.

Set in Stonehaven, Stonehaven ground floor home with a spectacular harbour view. Offers a restaurant and sea views, 200 metres from Carron Beach and less than 1 km from Cowie Beach. Every thing was perfect , plenty of room and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook , Paul Hollywood would be impressed , bathroom just needs a shower tidy for bottles , the beds were really comfy , the location is absolutely brilliant right on the harbour , it isn’t noisy it’s a nice sound of people enjoying themselves , you can literally roll to the harbour pub/restaurants which are nice . Some great walks and the off road parking space is a bonus .

Offering a garden and garden view, Invercauld Lodges is situated in Ballater, 18 km from Balmoral Castle and 46 km from CairnGorm National Park. Walking distance to almost everything I needed in the village shopping area. The proximity to Balmoral Castle really surprised me too. Well manicured and very quiet neighbourhood, exactly what I wanted for a good break. Full marks to the self-catering facilities and cottage arrangement.

Excellent cottage for a multiday stay only a few minutes walk from the centre of town so very convenient. lots of room to relax and the private courtyard was perfect.
