Offering garden views, The Barn Studio is an accommodation set in Millers Dale, 10 km from Buxton Opera House and 21 km from Chatsworth House. The barn was exceptionally clean. The kitchen had all the utilities we needed. The decor was very cosy, and the location was quiet. It was nice that the tv had BBC iPlayer and Netflix, so we were able to relax and watch Paris olympics in evenings after all-day hikes. We hope to come back again.

A recently renovated holiday home located in Chesterfield, Garden Cottage - Ashover Village near Matlock features a garden. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Gorgeous small property, lovely little enclosed garden full of birds in the morning. Beautiful and comfortable.

I loved the bird songs the sheep across the valley, the horses in the pasture next to the house. And the house was cozy and cute.

Knockerdown Cottages is set in Ashbourne and features a heated pool and garden views. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. Stunning location and surrounding garden and courtyard. Serene views and atmosphere. The cottage itself was beautifully designed and appointed. Very comfortable beds. Convenient small kitchen area. Good shower. Fantastic swimming pool and games room. Pub just across the road. Altogether a paradise - I didn't want to leave and I would love to go back.

This is clearly a property that the owner takes a lot of pride in, the decor is beautiful and quirky, and purposefully put together. The kitchen is excellently equipped, everything you may think of is there. And a great, unexpected touch with a bottle of complimentary cava that went down a treat!
